Resources offered by the State to support testing sites
The following services are offered to help organizations with additional resources to set up and operate a testing site.
- Interpretation: Free language interpretation services for individuals getting tested at your locations.
- Translation: Translated testing materials in the preferred languages of partner organizations and their communities.
- Onsite Training: Provide organizations with PCR and Antigen site setup assistance through staff training, physical setup of materials for testing, and providing testing supplies as needed.
- Financial Assistance: Grants for organizations to recruit and pay their staff or obtaining other testing materials (based on eligibility).
- Courier Services: Free access to the State’s COVID Courier Network drop boxes for transporting tests to the State’s Valencia Branch Laboratory for processing.
- Marketing: Assistance in spreading awareness of testing options in the organization’s community through marketing materials on testing.
- Prescribing Order: PCR tests conducted through the State testing program utilize a statewide prescribing order for the test so all individuals can be tested without their own doctor’s order. Many other testing providers and vendors have their own prescribing orders as well. The statewide order applies only to authorized labs, currently consisting of:
